How to take care of your rugs:

Oriental rugs are typically made of wool and are easily maintained. Wool rugs are durable, and unlike other rug fibers, wool is also more resilient, cleans better, and cleaning lasts much longer.

Cleaning
   A professional washing is recommended every 1-3 years, depending on the amount of traffic.
Rotation
   Your rug should be rotated at least once a year to ensure even wear.
Vacuuming
   Oriental rugs, like most wall to wall carpeting, should be vacuumed to remove dirt and other abrasives. However, be very careful not to vacuum the fringe!
Padding
   A good pad under your rug helps protect it from dirt, slippage, and overall wear and tear.
